Having served nearly 24 years in the United States Coast Guard retiring as a CWO3 Naval Engineer, and spending the last 20 years in the recreational marine diesel industry in South Florida I have the training, skills and knowledge to keep your Standby diesel generator at peak performance with the absolute cleanest fuel.
On the home page you see the results of our first job. The fuel pictured is from a local NFL team practice facility fuel tank. This was the worst of three tanks with free water, bacterial sludge, and suspended solids. This tank was completely circulated and filtered to 5 micron cleanliness and <15 ppm water. Well within ASTM standards.
The system shown below was designed and built by mhc personnel using a 2 cylinder Kubota diesel engine, driving a pump capable of moving over 160 gpm. Using Parker Bag filtration as the primary filter we first remove all particulate above 25 micron. In some cases this is enough particulate removal, not here. Fuel is then pumped to the Parker RVFS-3 filter housing using a 10 micron Coalescer filter then a 5 micron water separator filter that is guaranteed by Racor to remove water to <15 ppm. All at a rate of 75 gallons per minute. In this case fuel more than 13,000 gallons of fuel were filtered completely circulating the tank 3 times. The results on the home page speak for themselves.
